Ceci’s talk was very interesting because it was such a real life example of how effective branding is. It’s helpful to hear from someone who has successfully utilized a marketing/branding plan and made it work for many different audiences.
I liked what Ceci talked about regarding targeting different audiences. I think that can often be overlooked or underestimated and Ceci made some great points about how to utilize and execute reaching different audiences.
It was great to hear from Carolyn Clark. I really enjoyed her crisis class and have always valued her advice. It was reassuring to hear from her about the job application process and how to keep at it. I think it’s very important to stay focused on the big picture and be ok with starting out small. Carolyn is a perfect example in how putting yourself out there can lead to bigger and better positions, and how being a hard worker is important but so is finding balance in your life.
